Like any outdoor wedding, it’s always wise to have a weather backup plan, but when the weather cooperates, it’s hard to imagine a more beautiful setting.
Planning Tip: Should You Plan a Wedding Exit?
A wedding exit is one of the easiest ways to create a fun, celebratory moment—and some of my favorite photos of the entire day. It gives your guests a chance to celebrate with you while creating joyful, candid images you’ll treasure for years.
When can you do your wedding exit?
- After the ceremony as you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds.
- As you leave your venue for the next part of the day (like Nick and Maggie did with their vintage getaway car).
- At the end of the night with sparklers or another grand send-off.
- As your grand entrance into the reception. My husband and I did this at our own wedding, and it was such a fun way to kick off the celebration!

While Joslyn Castle provided a romantic and historic setting for the ceremony, Falconwood offered a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone could relax and celebrate together.
The Woodland Pavilion has a charm all its own. Surrounded by nature and filled with natural light, it creates an inviting space that feels elegant without being overly formal.
Guests enjoyed an incredible meal catered by The Boulevard and Streetside Foods, while every thoughtfully planned detail came together exactly as Nick and Maggie had imagined.
As the evening continued, Nova Productions kept the energy high, filling the dance floor with guests of every age. From the first dance to the final song, the celebration never lost its momentum.
One thing I always tell couples is that guests rarely remember every decoration or timeline detail.
They remember how your wedding made them feel.
Looking around the room that evening—watching people laugh, dance, and celebrate together—it was obvious Nick and Maggie had created exactly that kind of experience.
