My Style
After photographing more than 150 weddings, I've learned to recognize the moments that matter before anyone else does. The glance across the room, the deep breath before the aisle, the way your grandma reaches for your hand, these are the pieces of the day you'll never fully witness because you're busy living them.
So while you're immersed in every hug, every laugh, and every happy tear, nothing meaningful slips by unnoticed.
I'm Mackenzie. artist, question asker, tea + coffee connoisseur, AND completely HOPELESS ROMANTIC.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me at home with my husband and our two little ones. I traded the Northwest Indiana and Downtown Chicago for Nebraska after falling in love, and it's become the place where we've built a life we love.
I'm happiest when our home is full of my favorite people. I love lingering around the dinner table long after a home-cooked meal, asking intentional questions, listening to people's stories, and creating a space where they feel comfortable enough to be known and loved. I've always been endlessly curious about what makes people who they are.
And that is the same way I approach every wedding day. My hope is that by the time you step in front of my camera, it feels less like meeting with your photographer and more like spending time with someone who already knows you and wants you to feel at home and safe.
To provide every couple with the care and attention they deserve, I intentionally accept a limited number of weddings each year.
