Austin and Sadie’s engagement photos at the Joslyn Art Museum were an absolute dream to capture and easily some of my very favorites of 2025. They are the kind of couple who radiate joy and love everywhere they go, and that energy translated so beautifully into their photos. From their stunning outfits to the golden sunlight streaming through the museum windows, every moment felt effortless and timeless. Add in the Joslyn’s stunning architecture (both inside and out), and it was pure magic.
The Joslyn Art Museum is one of the top locations for engagement photos in Omaha, Nebraska, and for good reason. Its recently remodeled entrance and East Wing offer a clean, modern aesthetic flooded with natural light.
Beyond the newer spaces, the museum is full of character and variety. From elegant marble staircases to vibrantly colored fountains, every corner offers a unique backdrop.

Professional photography sessions at the Joslyn Art Museum do require advance planning. You’ll need to reserve a time for your session, and there is a $250 photography fee. Engagement photos can take place in public indoor spaces, such as the atrium and fountain areas, or outdoors in the gardens and on the iconic grand staircase.
I always help my couples navigate logistics like timing, light, and location selection so the experience feels seamless and stress-free.
If you’re dreaming of engagement photos that feel romantic and artful, I would love to help bring that vision to life. Engagement sessions are about more than just beautiful images—they’re about capturing your connection, your energy, and this once-in-a-lifetime season in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
Whether the Joslyn Art Museum has been on your dream location list or you’re still deciding what fits your story best, let’s plan something intentional together. Reach out to inquire about availability, and let’s create engagement photos you’ll love.
