An Elegant Empire Room Wedding in Omaha, NE

Dahn and Paige’s day took us all over some of Omaha’s most iconic spots — from getting ready at The Cottonwood Hotel to a beautiful ceremony at St. Cecilia Cathedral, a celebratory stop at Ricky’s Bar, and finally, an unforgettable reception at The Empire Room.

There’s something effortlessly elegant about an Empire Room wedding. Overlooking downtown Omaha and Turner Park, the venue’s grand ballroom and glowing chandelier set the tone for an elegant celebration. It was the perfect backdrop for Dahn and Paige’s special day.

A Wedding Day in Omaha

Dahn and Paige’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of who they are. The day began at The Cottonwood Hotel. Paige got ready surrounded by all the most important women in her life.  From the very start, the room was filled to the brim with joy, and it only got better as the day went on.

From there, we made our way to St. Cecilia Cathedral for a traditional Catholic ceremony. The Cathedral’s grand architecture perfectly matched their elegant blue-and-white color palette and the soft, romantic florals by Loess Hills Florals.

After the ceremony, we hopped on the party bus and headed to the couples favorite spot, Little Ricky’s Rooftop Bar in Blackstone. Then we made our way to the Empire Room for the reception. Inside, the ballroom glowed under the chandeliers, and every detail felt intentional and refined — a true reflection of Paige’s magic touch. She’s the kind of person who turns everything, and everyone, she touches into gold and pure joy, and their Empire Room Wedding was no exception.

An Intimate Celebration at The Empire Room

One of my favorite moments from the day was their private cake cutting and champagne tower pour — an intimate way to pause, celebrate, and take in the significance of it all before joining their guests on the dance floor.

Planning Your Own Empire Room Wedding?

If you’re dreaming of your own Empire Room Wedding, you couldn’t choose a more stunning and elegant space. From its breathtaking downtown views to its grand ballroom and chandeliers, it’s a venue that truly captures the beauty of Omaha love stories.

I’d be honored to help you capture every meaningful moment of your day — from quiet getting-ready mornings to joyful champagne toasts.

Tiny humans walking down the aisle are adorable—but beyond the cuteness, flower girls and ring bearers add a layer of sweetness, personality, and connection to your ceremony that adults simply can’t replicate.

Austin and Sadie’s engagement photos at the Joslyn Art Museum were an absolute dream to capture and easily some of my very favorites of 2025. They are the kind of couple who radiate joy and love everywhere they go, and that energy translated so beautifully into their photos.

One of the best ways to ensure your wedding day feels calm, joyful, and true to who you are is to create a thoughtful wedding day timeline.
