As a photographer, my passion shines when I get to capture the genuine love and emotion of a wedding day. No matter the location, every couple brings their own beautiful, one-of-a-kind story. For Brooklyn and Chayce, I had the opportunity to tell their love story by capturing intimate wedding photos… IN THE SWISS ALPS!
What a dream.
This intimate destination wedding will forever have a special place in my heart. Not only because Brooklyn and Chayce are truly the sweetest humans, but because I had the chance to document their day high in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery. Getting to photograph an intimate elopement in the mountains, filled with real, unscripted moments and emotional connection… it honestly doesn’t get any better than that.
I met Brooklyn and Chayce for their engagement photos on a fall day at a little coffee shop in Lincoln. And when they told me their wedding plans, I could not contain my excitement! A Swiss Alps elopement?! A dream.
These two are the kind of people who make everything feel calm and warm. Completely go-with-the-flow, and so easy to be around. Their engagement session felt like a slow Saturday morning: sipping coffee, sharing laughter, snuggling up, and chatting about life. It was simple and genuine — the kind of connection that’s a dream to photograph, especially through a documentary-style lens.
Fast forward to their wedding day in August, and that same laid-back energy followed them to the mountains. There was no stress, no rush — just two best friends fully present with each other. They focused on what truly mattered: getting married and soaking in every single moment together.
If you’ve ever imagined a Swiss Alps getaway — or a peaceful mountain escape — you’ve probably pictured a cozy, cabin-style hotel. Maybe a ski resort with crackling fireplaces, comfy chairs, and rooms with jaw-dropping views. Maybe a hot tub surrounded by towering trees and snow-dusted hills. Whatever your vision, I can almost guarantee that Hotel Glacier in Grindelwald will exceed it.
This boutique hotel is nestled in one of the most picturesque spots in Switzerland. It offers an experience that’s luxurious and rooted in local charm. From incredible cuisine and peaceful spa moments to design that highlights the natural beauty outside every window — it’s a dream come true. Brooklyn and Chayce each got ready in their own serene, uniquely styled rooms, and the energy of the morning was so calm and meaningful.
Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for — the intimate vow exchange. Just Brooklyn and Chayce, surrounded by the Swiss Alps. I was a fly on the wall as they exchanged the most heartfelt and emotional vows, documenting every little moment
Because they remained so present and focused on what truly mattered — their love for each other — I was able to capture genuine moments throughout the entire day. It’s days like these that remind me why I do what I do.
Intimate weddings in breathtaking places deserve to be documented with care, emotion, and intention. Whether you’re planning a destination elopement in the Swiss Alps or a cozy celebration closer to home, I’m here to tell your story through honest imagery.
