Jake and Maddie’s Vintage Ballroom wedding in downtown Omaha was such a joyful, easygoing day. Their April wedding brought a fresh feel to the city, and everything unfolded naturally, with genuine moments and real connection at the center.

Getting Ready & Downtown Moments

The day began with Maddie walking through downtown Omaha with her bridesmaids, soaking in the city’s energy before everything officially began. These in between moments are always some of my favorite to document.

A First Look Filled With Emotion

One of the most emotional moments of the day came during Jake and Maddie’s first look. It wasn’t rushed or overly structured. They exchanged gifts, read notes, and took their time gushing over one another.

A Ceremony Rooted in Connection

Their ceremony was filled with genuine smiles, laughter, and tears from both the couple and their guests. It felt intimate and present, with everyone fully engaged in the moment. These are the ceremonies that photograph so beautifully because nothing feels forced, and every emotion is real.

After the ceremony, we headed to Central High School for portraits, one of Omaha’s most iconic and timeless backdrops. From there, the celebration continued back downtown at the Vintage Ballroom.
