A Romantic and Intimate Wedding at Casa Bovina

They started out as just a couple of friends, chatting with each other in their group at church. That’s where their story starts, where it all began. I think Porscha explained their beginnings so well, “It didn’t take long for my walls to come down and our love to grow”.

A Simple May Wedding

In a sweet and simple May ceremony, Zach and Porscha said “I do” surrounded by their closest friends and family. There is something wonderful about a truly intimate ceremony. One where the bride and groom are surrounded by men and women who are totally invested in their love. With an intimate wedding, the couple has the chance to celebrate with every guest and to enjoy every moment. Porscha and Zach did just that. They found joy at every turn.

The Gathering Space by StayinLNK in Lincoln was the perfect spot for Porscha and her girls to get ready. The luxurious, warm space is exactly what every bride needs on her day. A calm space to connect with your people and get ready for the rest of your life! The celebration had already begun by the time I arrived. Everyone was bursting with joy, ready to get Porscha married!

Her mother and sister helped her as she slipped into her dress. Then it was time for the sweetest first look with her father. Many tears and quite a few hugs were had as he pulled out his handkerchief reading, “ For your happy tears”. He was well prepared.

The day moved forward and we headed to the Nebraska Capitol Building for Zach and Porscha’s first look. The old architecture and stunning grounds never disappoint. Porscha’s bouquet by Heather Bee Floral was absolutely gorgeous. It made for the perfect accessory as Zach and Porscha spent time together in the Capitol taking portraits, giddy with excitement about their special day. More tears and more hugs, this was an emotional one! They said private vows, and then it was time!

Before the ceremony, their families gathered to pray over the couple. Porscha exuded so much peace, calm, and joy all throughout the day but especially in these moments.

An Intimate Wedding Reception at Casa Bovina

In true Porscha and Zach fashion, the reception was also simple, sweet, and intimate! We had the very best food, so a big shout out to Casa Bovina. Seriously, the best food in the most romantic space! From the family style tables, to the gorgeous lighting, to the incredible service, Casa Bovina made Zach and Porscha’s day all the more special. The vibes were incredible, there was so much laughter and happiness in that room. Porscha giggled with her friends. Zach had the sweetest mother-and-son dance. And the father-daughter dance brought everyone to tears.

A beautiful day for a truly beautiful couple. I am so glad I got to be a part of it.
